Isn’t it? The news, the virus, the global warming…I don’t know about you, but I’m completely wiped out, emotionally, physically, and mentally. I took a few days off the internet, and it really does help, but the downside is that it’s so easy to forget what’s going on, especially with the virus. Fewer people wearing masks, social what?, more businesses opening; you get lulled into a false sense of “normal”, and that’s scary when all the experts are saying it’s only going to get worse.
So what can we do? First and foremost, ask yourself, “Do I really need to do x?” Do you really need to go to that restaurant or bar or concert or spa or…well, you get the drift. Ask yourself if it’s so important that it’s worth the risk. Think of all you’ve lived without for months; is it really, really necessary to make it part of your life again?
Stay safe. Wear a flipping mask, no matter what. Stick to curbside pickup as much as possible. Social distance, people, social distance. I made a brief, quick foray to a craft store when they opened in the morning (the item I needed wasn’t available for curbside), and as I was paying a woman stepped right next to me and put her stuff on the counter! I said, “Excuse me, 6 feet” and she just laughed. The clerk rolled her eyes at me like, “What is with people??”. Really made me rethink my “need” for said item. I rarely ever, ever go into a business, and every time I have, something like that makes me remember why I prefer to stay home. Compromised lungs aren’t something to mess around with.
Another thing you can do is have 30-minute distance Hygge Energy Healing session! It will give you that “relaxing sigh* feeling, relieving the tension, and in some cases, bringing on a nap if you’re really, really stressed out and anxious. You don’t have to leave your house, do anything special, nothing; just kick back and receive.
